Atlantic Rowing Race: Blog 11

Blog 11 – Bad News

I’m not really sure how to even start this blog… Some terrible personal news has meant that Mel has flown back to England this morning to be with her family.

I’m not sure what that means as far as the race is concerned but whatever decision she makes has to be the right one for her. At the end of the day, this is just some silly boat race and there are some things in this life that are way more important.

Please keep her in your thoughts.

Thinking of both of you, hope you are ok on the beach Annie!! No matter what happens you are still the most inspirational coach the juniors at C of B rowing club could ever have!

so sorry to hear of Mels loss. I can well understand the stress that she must be undergoing and can only hope that she has a lot of love and support back home, to help her to cope and come through it.
